  Simon Jones worked for Tony Fretton Architects as the project architect of the refurbishment of Stroud Valleys Artspace form December 2004 until November 2006, and was responsible for the first 2 phases of the project from planning through to completion. He oversaw the construction on site and made fortnightly visits from London to inspect the ongoing building work. During this period he took thousands of record photographs of Stroud Valleys Artspace’s John Street premises in various states of disrepair and reconstruction. A selection of these photographs are displayed throughout the (almost) completed building in specific locations relating to the positions from which they were originally taken.
