30 years ago in America a bunch of rednecks - who were incensed
by the idea of white kids dancing to music made by black gay
men who dressed as aliens - burned thousands of disco records
in a packed Comiskey Park baseball stadium and declared it the
end of disco era. They called this happening 'Disco Sucks' and
thought that afterwards everyone would go back to listening
to Garth Brooks and eating raw meat.

Thankfully, history has proved them wrong. So come and celebrate
the fact that disco actually doesn't suck with an evening
of underground disco/funk/balearic vinyl from the 70s to the
present.
There will be DJs (including DJ Dino, Stroud Disco Council
and Tim Telling), VJs and the legendary Black Box PA. |
