Belinda’s paintings are about light and imagining light being a 3d shape like molton glass. The work on show will be an exploration in taking the painting outside the surface of the flat canvas, in relief and projecting film onto thread. ‘An experiment in releasing the colour from the surface’.

Belinda Gilbert Scott works in Scotland with Sarah Kenchington and Katy Dove to host The Caravan Residencies and the Caravan Club which supports artists time to develop new work, undistracted from any pressure, and away from deadlines
