Followed by discussion with the artists. Tea and refreshments available.

4pm Dialogue: Can Art promote a culture of Peace?

Street arts and theatre producer Bill Brookman joins War & Peace artists Mahmoud Reza Sani, Tim Shore, and Gary Thomas in conversation chaired by Martin Whiteside.

Bill Brookman has recently worked with young people in Haiti and Sierra Leone using street theatre to spread a message of arms reduction.
Mahmoud Reza Sani is a film maker based in Iran who has made documentaries around the world including Afghanistan, Peru and Spain.
Tim Shore and Gary Thomas are London based artists who work collaboratively on carefully researched film projects with social and historical themes.

war & peace 08 was initiated and organised by Fiona Meadley and selected by Elena Hill (Contemporary Art Programming), Zoë Shearman (independent curator) and Dominic Thomas (Stroud Valleys Artspace).
